With the Spring Kid’s Kloset cancellation, the City Mission will not receive donations left by sellers at the end of the event. To continue support, at the remaining May meetings and at the Memphis Kiddie Park end-of-year event, we will have targeted collections to support Laura’s Home, part of The City Mission.
At the May 8th meeting, please bring one container of baby formula. Attendees who donate will be entered into a drawing for a gift card. Can’t make the meeting, drop off baby formula: 21484 Kenwood Avenue.
What is Laura’s Home? For women and children, we are a bridge from crisis to stability and self-sufficiency. Today, hundreds of single-mothers and their children are experiencing or on the verge of homelessness in our city. With 166 beds and 55 rooms, Laura’s Home offers a variety of services intended to prepare women and children for positive, productive futures.
